Our November meetup is going to be split between two informative talks from the Dublin Web Summit folks and Irishman, Chris Walker, of the American Kennel Club – and then two Irish startups.
We will be back where the group started off – at Handybook – although, fresh from their recent $10m round of funding, those offices have moved to accommodate their growth – to West 29th Street.
Presenting will be…
- Dublin Web Summit – On the back of another really successful Dublin Web Summit last week, founder Daire Hickey is going to talk about the event, how important the Summit is for Ireland’s global digital perception, future plans and other events that they are expanding into.
- American Kennel Club – Belfast man Chris Walker will give us an overview of the American Kennel Club’s on- and offline business, and a snapshot into his successful efforts to significantly boost membership since his arrival there in early 2013.
- Sales6ix.com – Michael McGowan, Co-founder and CEO. Intuitive, next-generation sales forecasting platform.
- Gethealthapp – Chris Rooney, Co-founder. Effective tracking and management of wellness program for both corporations and their employees via mobile apps.
