Welcome to the new New York Digital Irish group!
Our goal is to promote the expansion of Irish startups, by providing access to resources and networking opportunities in areas such as social media, mobile, online advertising, digital agencies, search, analytics, video, e-commerce or other online-centric B2B or B2C plays.
Our aim is to host regular networking sessions and quick-pitch events where startups present to our community and ask for support and feedback. We will also source interesting speakers on topics such as augmented reality, fintech and more. Our aim is to add value to both the presenting companies as well as the audience.
Each meetup will allow time to connect with other Digital Irish members over pizza and refreshments to keep the conversation going. We are always happy to make introductions for entrepreneurs in our network. The better we know you, the happier we are to make intros for you – so come say ‘hi’ to any of us at our next event!
We are planning to have our first event – the Digital Irish Inaugural Meeting – on Wednesday January 9th at the offices of Handybook. 295 Lafayette, 7th Floor, (The Puck Building) at 6:30pm.
The agenda is as follows:
- Quick introduction to the NY Digital Irish group – Feargall Kenny
- Handybook quick pitch by Oisin Hanrahan, CEO (and our host for the evening)
- Golf Redefined quick pitch by Marcus Spillane, Co-Founder
- Open mic – share what you are doing, with the group!
- Networking.
This event is strictly for members of the LinkedIn NYC Digital Irish Group.
